It's no secret that Martha Stewart has a special talent for making everything look effortlessly chic. Whether it's her gardening tips, her beautiful home-decor choices or her mouthwatering recipes, if she recommends something, I listen! As much as I love watching old episodes of Martha Stewart Living or reading The Martha Blog, one of my absolute favorite things to do is stalk her personal Instagram account to see her chic daily outfits.
This winter I've noticed that one accessory has become a real staple for her — a stylish scarf. It’s not just one specific piece — she, of course, has a fabulous selection (of snuggly furry options, sparkly styles and lightweight layers) that she mixes and matches with her cold-weather looks. Well, I'm taking a cue from Martha and adding a few chic scarves to my winter wardrobe before the season slips away — and I think you should too! Shop all my favorite Martha-inspired scarves below. It turns out Martha loves a matching set as much as we do. She took her sleek monochromatic look up a notch by adding a fun, glittery scarf in the same beige shade. This stylish knit number is sprinkled with sequins, giving her neutral look an unexpected upgrade. If you want to add a bit of sparkle to an outfit of yours, choose a metallic style or even a rhinestone-studded version for that extra touch of glam.
As we approach spring, you may be more inclined to shop for lightweight layers that will carry us through the inter-season transition. Well, of course, Martha has the perfect scarf for that. Take her cue and grab an oversized, airy style like the one she rocked on her trip to Namibia this winter — it's super stylish and makes for a fantastic travel essential. You can wear it around your neck for a cozy touch, drape it as a shawl for a bit more coverage or even use it as a blanket on a chilly plane or train ride.
Here in late February, however, nothing feels cozier than wrapping up in an oversized scarf, and we can't help but adore Martha's plush option. The clever pull-through design not only keeps it securely in place but it also takes the guesswork out of how to style it. While we're unsure if Martha's exact version is the real deal or not, we found a variety of faux-fur lookalikes that give off the same "old money" vibe for less.
