We wanted to ensure you know exactly what to look for in a women's vitamin supplement, so our team consulted four registered dietitians and reviewed over 20 products. Unlike other products I've tried, I liked only having to take one pill per day. While the tablet isn't small, I had no trouble swallowing it. Since iron can upset the stomach, especially an empty one, I took mine with breakfast and had no gastrointestinal issues. Just keep in mind that since each dose meets 100% of the iron needs for women ages 19 to 50, this product isn't ideal for women over 50 or those who don't menstruate.
