Save more than 50% on a Hisense TV with this Prime Day deal. (Amazon)
We're in the final hours of the Amazon Prime Day deals — the sale will come to an end after today, July 11. That doesn't leave much time to take advantage of these truly notable TV deals. One of the best we've seen so far is a deep 55% cut on this 65-inch Hisense model, which brings it down to just $998 from its usual $2,200 price. This set was just introduced in 2025 and this is the lowest price we've seen, so it's well worth picking up before stock runs out or the sale ends tonight. If you aren't familiar with the mini-LED utilized here, it's a relatively new addition to TV tech that aims to approach some advantages of OLED sets but with better brightness. It's like your screen is lit by thousands of dots of light (seriously) that can each dim or turn off individually. If I didn't already have a relatively recent OLED TV in my living room, I'd be considering this one.
Big sales events like Prime Day and Black Friday are always the best time to pick up a new TV, and Amazon's summer sales event is no different. A 65-inch TV is the perfect size for a lot of living rooms, and this is the lowest price we've seen on this particular set so far. You also get some seriously good extra features, like Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Atmos audio.
Whether you just use your TV to watch movies and TV shows or you like to game on your PS5, Xbox or Switch, this Hisense TV has a great set of features for you. The mini-LED backlight means you get thousands of local dimming zones that can turn on and off individually for darker darks and brighter whites. In fact, this TV can hit up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, which is very bright.
You get every form of HDR you could want here, too, whether it's Dolby Vision, HDR10+ or HLG. That pairs perfectly with streaming services accessible through the built-in Google TV and its apps. With eight speakers total, you can also get a pretty good surround sound experience with Dolby Atmos right out of the box.
For gamers, the panel on this TV can display up to 165Hz, meaning it'll work great with 120 FPS games on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. It's a variable refresh rate (VRR) panel between 48Hz and 165Hz as well, so you won't have to worry about screen tearing. Throw in an auto low latency mode and you have a seriously fast screen that can keep up with fast-paced action.
This model is rated well at 4.4 our of five stars from reviewers so far. Here's what they have to say.
"This TV is a sleeper and should be at the top of your list of getting," said one five-star reviewer. "The TV is quick for speed, easy set up either by your phone or by manual. They functionality is easy. And the colors and smooth texture of the videos and movies I can tell are still far behind with this TV is currently built to do. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this!"
Another five-star review praised the picture quality and ease of use. "I love the picture quality on this TV as it is bright, even during the daytime and the colors look very natural, not oversaturated like some OLED TV's I have seen. The sound is also better on this TV through the eARC connection due to having HDMI 2.1 as I have the TV connected to a very high quality home theater sound system."
While built-in Dolby Atmos is great, you might still want to invest in a solid soundbar or home theater system. One three-star reviewer said, "The built in speakers sound like a tin can no matter how much I tinker with the settings. I got them to finally sound decent, but still they are not good. I mostly use the built in speakers for when my daughter watches her kid shows, but I use surround sound speakers for movies and my shows."
Another reviewer agreed, saying "The 4.1.2 sound is OK. I don’t use soundbars, but I think anyone who does will continue to do so with the TV – or use a surround sound system. I’m still experimenting with the sound settings."
Want to go bigger? You can go up to 100 inches with this TV and still save a bundle.
