Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day 2022 will be in July in more than 20 countries, returning to its customary month after a two years of pandemic-related shifts. In 2020, Prime Day moved to October, and in 2021, it was in June.
The company shared this initial information on Prime Day 2022 while announcing their first quarter results on Thursday, April 28. "Prime members will be able to save on products from national brands and small businesses across every category," the company said in a statement.

Prime Day, which began eight years ago, is Amazon’s biggest shopping event for Prime members. The stellar sale includes markdowns on thousands upon thousands of products: tech, kitchen essentials, vacuums, apparel, beauty must-haves and so much more.
While we don't have specific dates just yet, Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day will be in July 2022 in more than 20 countries. Historically, Prime Day has taken place mid-month, after the July 4th holiday, and in time for back-to-school shopping for states that return to classrooms in late July and early August.
Not everything is on sale for Prime Day, but a lot is. This is usually the day when you'll find huge discounts on top-rated brands and products you know and love.

With folks wanting to treat themselves after a tough year, this year's Prime Day could be record-setting. In a May 2021 survey from Criteo, four out of five US consumers (81 percent) said Prime Day gets them in the mood to shop.
Other retailers will be riding the Prime Day train as well — Walmart, Best Buy, Target and GameStop all clapped back with their own sales last year.
No one knows exactly which products will go on sale. But if history repeats itself, and we suspect it will, some of the best deals will be on Amazon Devices, like the Fire TV Stick 4K, and the Echo Dot.
