If you're a regular camper or hiker, then you understand the necessity of top-tier equipment. A great tent, quality sleeping bag and, equally important, great cooking utensils. Some sets can be expensive and lack a compact feature. But we spotted one bundle that doesn't take up space in your haul and is an astonishing 42 percent off! At $15, the Stanley Adventure camp cook set is an essential for serious outdoors enthusiasts.
Amazon will give you free shipping too. But if you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get so much more — access to new movies and TV shows, discounts at Whole Foods, plus exclusive sales and two-day shipping on many, many items. Not yet a member? You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here.
The Stanley Adventure camp cook set does it all. Featuring a stainless steel pot (with markings up to 20 oz) and matching lid, along with two 10 oz. insulated plastic mugs, it's useful for preparing hot meals, coffee, or boiling water. And that lid features a vented top to allow for steam to escape or for straining the kettle's contents (perfect for pasta!). After a restorative dinner and a restful night of sleep, the kettle also functions as a coffeemaker; later on, you can use it to dispense your favorite hot or cold drinks. It's leakproof and easily stowable — toss it into a cooler or attach to your favorite backpack. When you're back home, it's ready for the dishwasher.
"Super quality and value," raved one shopper. "It's such a simple thing, but where this wins over basically everything else is that it has the nested plastic cups inside. The cups are crazy thick and durable, and you avoid the plague of all coffee drinkers in the morning: burned lips. I have some aluminum mugs you can heat in, but they get so hot they are torture. I can make my coffee in this, pour into the plastic mugs and sip without getting lip burns."
Another fan wrote: "I went camping for 10 days in Alaska and was taking a bear vault for my food. In order to get it all in, I put all of my dehydrated meals in Ziplock bags versus keeping them in their original packaging. The cook set worked great to rehydrate my meals. We ended up in a wind/snow storm for days. I was really surprised how well this worked and didn't cool off too quickly. It worked so well in saving space with packaging I'll probably do the same on my future shorter trips."
