Call me old-fashioned, but I miss the days when Halloween candy started showing up on shelves in late September. I mean, technically, we have about a month of summer left, and pumpkin-shaped peanut butter cups are already staring me down at the grocery store checkout. I say "technically," because for many, Labor Day marks summer's end. In all fairness, you wouldn't know it; Amazon's Labor Day sale is here, and the deals aren't messing around.
Take AirPods, for starters: These fan favorites have been slashed to $90, just a dollar more than their all-time-low price, so there's no reason to wait till the weekend to pounce. And just in time for the new school year, this bestselling 30-ounce Stanley tumbler is down to its lowest price ever at $26 (down from $35). Gotta keep the kids hydrated! Need a new vacuum? This sleek Shark stick model is also on sale for a record low at $200 off.
I suppose I can forgive candy corn for prematurely popping up if it means we get Labor Day deals as good as these — though, as with any savings event, not all markdowns are worth your time. With that in mind, my team and I have rounded up the best Labor Day sales of the bunch, researching price histories and comparing discounts across retailers to ensure we're only sharing the real deals. Now go rev up that cart and get to work — shopping can be Labor-ious, but someone's gotta do it.
MacBook Air 13-inch ($799, was $999): The latest MacBook Air isn't just at an all-time low price — it's packing Apple's new M4 chip, delivering a serious power boost without losing what makes the Air iconic: its sleek design, stunning 13.6-inch display and up to 18 hours of battery life. This one makes my first MacBook look and feel like a toy — and somehow, even with inflation and tariffs, it still costs less.
Stanley Quencher ProTour for its lowest price ever
Stanley Quencher ProTour ($26, was $35.00): These bestselling bad boys rarely go on sale (they don't really need to), but this one happens to be marked down to a new record low in a handful of pretty hues — so stock up!
Apple Airpods 4 for 30% off
Apple Airpods 4 ($90, was $129): Apple Airpods 4 are down to a buck shy of their Prime Day price — and so they're unlikely to dip lower than this anytime soon. Now, they don't include active noise cancellation like these do, but if it's a high-quality, comfortable listening experience you're after, these earbuds more than deliver. With up to five hours of listening time per charge (and 30 hours of battery life via the charging case), you'll be able to enjoy music, podcasts, audiobooks and more with limited interruption.

Shark Vertex Cordless Stick Vacuum for its lowest price ever
Apple iPad ($299, was $349): At just $299, the newest iPad is my favorite Apple Labor Day deal. It's an ultra-light, thin tablet that's powerful enough to replace your laptop for most tasks, yet small enough to disappear into your bag. The 11-inch Liquid Retina display delivers vibrant color and sharpness that makes older screens feel like relics. It's also our pick for the best iPad for most people.
A Dyson-level dryer for more than 40% off
Slopehill Professional Ionic Hair Dryer ($28, was $50): Ready to upgrade your blow-drying experience without shelling out for a pricey Dyson? Reviewers say this sleek styler is a comparable alternative for a fraction of the price. Oh, and at $22, it's at its lowest yet.
Bissell Little Green Mini on rare sale
Bissell Little Green Mini ($85, was $95): This set comes with the Little Green, a 4-inch tough stain tool, a HydroRinse self-cleaning hose tool and a trial-size bottle of cleaning formula — and it's down to its lowest price since Prime Day.

Get a powerful laptop for $300 less than it costs at the Apple Store
MacBook Pro 14-inch ($1,299, was $1,599): At an all-time low, this price is nearly $300 off what you'd find in the Apple Store for this same laptop. It's a step up from the Air in that it's got a bigger and brighter screen, slightly more powerful M4 processor, twice the storage at the baseline configuration and twice the number of USB-C ports, too.
Gloria Vanderbilt jeans for half off
Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Jeans ($24, was $48): You deserve jeans that make you look your best — after all, they're perhaps your most important wardrobe piece. Our editors love these flattering Gloria Vanderbilt options that are a mere $22 right now.
Philips Sonicare toothbrush for 20% off
Philips Sonicare 4100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush ($40, was $50): Keep your choppers pristine with this pulsating plaque-buster. It's up to seven times more effective than manual brushing (31,000 brush strokes per minute will do that!), but the biggest reason to smile? It's currently down to its best price in months.
Bose QuietComforts are at their lowest price of the year
Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones ($230, was $349): Bose makes some of the best headphones around, and its QuietComfort set is no exception. They're comfortable, come in a lot of colors and are a pure joy to listen to (with active noise cancellation, of course). This Labor Day sale has every color except green marked down $120 to just $229, their lowest price of the year.
