Who knew Anthropologie had such kick-butt kitchen deals? (Anthropologie)(Anthropologie)
I'll be honest: As a former professional baker who now writes about kitchen gear for a living, I don't often find myself browsing through Anthropologie's wares. I'm a deals writer after all, and the brand isn't necessarily known for its low price points. But, after an impromptu scan of the home goods sale section, I realized I've been missing out. I found lots of gorgeous kitchen items for shockingly reasonable prices (as in, starting at 10 bucks), with savings of up to 55%. If your tableware and kitchen accessories could use a spring refresh, you've come to the right place.
From fanciful mugs and dish towels to aprons and table runners, these festive finds are the epitome of putting the "fun" in functional. And they're not just for spring, either; many of my picks can absolutely be used all year round.
Anthropologie, I'm sorry I slept on you for so long — it won't happen again.
Is it just me, or does sipping from a cute mug elevate the hot tea/coffee-drinking experience? This one has the cutest hand-drawn image of birds and florals, and I love the sleek metallic detail around the rim, base and handle. No, it can't go in the microwave or dishwasher, but it's so pretty, I'm not even mad about it.
"Perfect size with great design details," raved a satisfied sipper. "These lovely mugs make my weekend breakfast more enjoyable!"
I don't like spending a lot of money on aprons — they exist to get messy, after all! — but I still want them to be aesthetically pleasing, as I'm more likely to actually wear one that way. This striped cotton number checks all my boxes: It's got a fun pop of color, has two pockets, doesn't tie at the neck (so painful!) and clocks in at a mere $30.
"It looks better than the picture," revealed a happy home cook. "I like the color and design. It's convenient for cooking thanks to [the] pockets and fits all of my family members. Love it."
Psst: There's a matching pot holder that's also on sale — for just 10 bucks!
A lovely runner can instantly zhuzh up a boring old table, and doesn't this one look perfect for spring? With its pink floral print and yellow border, it'll help liven up the setting of your next dinner party, and it's safe to toss into the wash when it's time to clean. You can also flip it over and use the all-yellow side if you like.
"The Kiara collection is one of my new Anthro faves!" exclaimed an enthusiastic shopper. "From the pattern mixing to the stitching details, these pieces are truly beautiful. Especially this runner — I adore the block print design in a larger piece."
This adorable cotton cloth just might be what finally makes me look forward to doing the dishes, with its fun purple and green color scheme and whimsical veggie print. Those little tassels are just *chef's kiss*.
"Are you kidding? So freaking cute!" swooned a blissful buyer. "I am obsessed with this dish towel, it is screaming 'spring!'"
I've been searching for a new set of matching glasses to replace the mismatched ones currently crowding up my cabinet, and this collection's so inexpensive, I might buy a few! The light pink hue (55% off) is just colorful enough without being too loud, though they also come in a dark turquoise for 10 bucks more ... decisions, decisions!
"We bought these as drinking glasses for entertaining and special occasions," wrote a host with the most. "They are beautiful and add something fun to the table. We have used them many times already and they are very durable, though we do hand wash them as recommended."
I'm going to guess this is on sale as a leftover from Valentine's Day, but who says heart-shaped servingware can't be used year-round? I appreciate that it's not your standard wood and white marble charcuterie board; its pink marble and brass design looks high-end yet cheeky.
"I was pleasantly surprised by how cute this cheese board is!" said a former skeptic. "I bought it as the perfect engagement present and ended up buying myself one as well. Each one has different coloring and patterning, which is what makes it unique! The price is right and it makes the perfect addition for entertaining!"
How stunning is that lace embroidery around the corners and edges? Green is one of my favorite colors, and this runner's emerald tone is versatile enough to suit everything from garden parties to holiday gatherings.
"The green is very vibrant as pictured," promised a five-star fan. "The detailing on the corners is cute; overall very pretty for spring or maybe even Christmas, depending on how you style it."
If you're a fan of the French bistro aesthetic (like me), this little ray of sunshine will make your kitchen a cheerier place. The 100% cotton material features embroidered writing, colorful stripes and the most darling fruity illustration. Orange you glad it's just $15?
"These towels are so cute, and so vibrant, while also still being classy," dished a delighted devotee. "They don't overwhelm your kitchen with bright colors, but they really add some pop. And of course, they are very good quality."
Finally, your morning glass of OJ is about to get a makeover, courtesy of these iridescent drinking vessels. Their scalloped rims make them look far more expensive than their $35 price tag, and I've gotta say "Cheers!" to that shimmery, light-reflecting finish.
"I am transitioning to a 'plastic-free' kitchen," explained an environmentalist. "It’s proving to be a long project, but items like these shimmery and happy glasses make this project so fun! Great for a nice juice, a cocktail or a simple glass of water. These elevate the daily and bring me a smile … Also, I was worried the curve at the top would be odd to drink from, but not a problem at all!"
