The Ninja Thirsti just might be the coolest quencher on the market. (Amazon)(Amazon)
I'm not here to nag you about staying hydrated, but in case you are looking to up your H2O intake, I've found a simple solution. It's the Ninja Thirsti Drink System, which is essentially like having your very own on-demand seltzer maker (a boon for anyone like me who can't stand plain water). Unlike many soda machines on the market, there's no pumping by hand — you'll have a customized beverage with the push of a button or two.
Sound good? Well, wait 'til you get a load of this: It's on sale for less than it was during Amazon Prime Day, as in, $75 off. You could buy a lot of sparkling water with that, but, of course, you'll no longer have to. This is one of the best extended Prime Day kitchen deals I'm seeing, so add it to your cart stat.
Want to start bedtime on the right foot, er, head? This chill pair of pillows will help get you through sticky summer nights. Thousands of satisfied slumberers rave about their soft yet supportive feel, and their breathable down alternative fill helps promote airflow for a more comfortable slumber. According to the brand, they're suited for all sleep styles, whether you tend to rest on your back, stomach or side — and they happen to be a record-low 80% off.
"These pillows have been super good to me in helping relieve the neck/shoulder pains I was experiencing with the pillows I had before," raved a reviewer. "They stay cool throughout the night or when I’m napping. They're comfortable, not too flat, not too puffed. Just right. Get them!"
The only question left is, which flavor do you try first?
This set includes a dozen straws, both straight and bent, along with two cleaning brushes and a cute little pouch to store everything in.
"I was using the glass straws for so long to try and save on using plastic because it isn't good for our oceans," shared a reviewer. "However, glass straws would just break, sometimes while I was using them. It was scary. I switched to these, and not only are they safe, easy to clean and the perfect size, but they're durable and long-lasting. The drink tastes better too."
If you had your eye on this machine during Prime Day and forgot to add it to your cart, you're in luck. At $105 (down from $180), the Thirsti is down to a new all-time low. It was $120 during Prime Day, meaning the time to buy is now. You're saving over 40%! And while it might seem like a splurge, just think of how much money it'll save you on canned or bottled soda and seltzer in the long run.
What sets the Ninja Thirsti apart from a manual model like the SodaStream is the fact that it's electrically powered — no work is needed on your part aside from choosing your preferred settings. On that note, this machine lets you customize the amount of bubbles in your drink (if you want any at all) as well as the flavor.
Each machine includes four samples from the brand's flavor line: Ripe Raspberry, Lemonade, Peach Mango and Strawberry Kiwi. They're all sugar- and calorie-free, and some contain vitamins and electrolytes. If you want to add flavor to your water, you can opt for one or combine two. And if none of these flavors speak to you, you can always add other ingredients you have on hand, like maple syrup or fruit juice, to give your seltzer some pizzazz.
To use the Thirsti, simply add water to the canister, select the size of your cup and you'll be on your way (there are four options to choose from). You'll need to replace the CO2 canister from time to time, but many retailers offer trade-in discounts, so you'll be rewarded for recycling. Speaking of which, you'll cut way down on plastic if you're used to buying single-use water and soda bottles on the regular.
This all-in-one hydration station has an impressive 4.6-star average rating from Amazon customers who are impressed by its ease of use, versatility and canister life.
"This product has been great and has helped both myself and my wife cut back on our soda purchases!" exclaimed one happy user. "They give you a decent sample size of the flavors and they are all pretty strong. The customization options are really nice to have as well, in case you want more carbonation or flavor in your drink, or less. The option of mixing flavors is nice too!"
"I really like that I can do just flavored water or I can do sparkling water," wrote another. "It is very easy to operate and my 6-year-old can make a drink if she wants."
"Easy to set up and use," agreed a third. "The lowest setting for carbonation is quite adequate most of the time and stretches the life of the CO2 tank dramatically. For those familiar with [other] machines, the Ninja gets way better life out of the CO2 canisters. A very useful and satisfying machine for folks who like refreshing energy drinks, especially with some bubbles. Will get you to drink more fluids and stay hydrated."
Not everyone is a fan of the artificially sweetened flavors. "I would give five stars except ... I wish they had some slightly sweet, naturally sweetened syrups," shared a generally pleased buyer. That said, they added, "My family received this for Christmas ... So far we love it! [The] kids are having fun making all kinds of different drinks."
"The flavors taste like the cheaper brands of carbonated water," admitted an otherwise satisfied shopper. "Instead, I add a tablespoon of organic bottled lemon juice ... and set the machine for light carbonation. In two minutes, I have an 18-ounce beverage that tastes just like Spindrift. I'm saving money and using a glass instead of putting so many cans in the recycling."
And for some eco-friendly seltzer sipping:
