Shoppers love these flattering $23 jeans at Walmart: 'I get compliments all the time'

Recently, however, it seems like the prices have skyrocketed. Madewell's jeans have a cult following, but you need to be prepared to spend at least $100 on a pair. And the denim brands celebs like Jennifer Garner wear? We're talking $200 or more!

So, what's a woman to do when she wants jeans that make her look and feel good but doesn't want to spend her entire monthly grocery budget on a pair? Head to Walmart, believe it or not! Shoppers are currently obsessing over a wide-leg pair available at the retailer that is priced at just $23.

I first encountered these jeans while scrolling on Facebook. A person in a shopping group I'm in posted about the Time and Tru High Rise Wide Leg Jeans and it wasn't long before others began singing their praises as well. "These Walmart Time and Tru jeans are fantastic," the original poster wrote. " They come in multiple inseams, are size-inclusive, super flattering and look expensive, but cost $23. I snagged some today and love them!"

Jeans are my absolute favorite thing to wear, so I immediately went to Walmart to check these babies out. Imagine my shock to find a bunch of sizes were already sold out. Turns out, plenty of other people already discovered these amazing jeans and scooped them up — it's no surprise that they have hundreds of five-star ratings on the Walmart website.

"Do not sleep on these jeans. I have never had so many people stop me and ask where I got something. They are very well made, comfortable and super cute," one happy shopper wrote in their review.

Another customer commented, "I love these jeans! Great quality and super comfortable. Better than AE. True to size and great amount of stretch. Love the style and feel of these jeans. Highly recommend."

Someone else added, "I bought one pair of these jeans and loved the fit. I get compliments all the time. I came back and bought a black pair. I also bought one more pair for when this pair wears out. I love them."

While there are tons of positive reviews for these jeans, some shoppers did struggle to find the right fit. "I think these jeans are really cute and would be very comfortable to wear but they did not fit me so, unfortunately, they will be returned. The waist was big and they were way too long in the size 4 with 31 inseam. I could not get the shorter length in a different size otherwise I would reorder," one person explained.
