Take your cue from a real-life superhero: Lynda Carter, the bombshell who made us all want to don a gold tiara, wield the Lasso of Truth and be Wonder Woman back in the '70s. The 73-year-old trendsetter recently revealed that her "go-to easy slip-on" shoes are Vince Warren Platform Sneakers, a versatile, cushiony style that's on mega sale at Saks Off 5th.
These rubber-soled slip-ons are "really comfortable," Carter says, and reviewers agree. "Like walking on air," said one.
Carter complements her famous blue peepers with a few swipes of this beloved drugstore classic. "It's still the one that doesn't flake," she says. "It's inexpensive. I can go to any drugstore and pick up my favorite mascara. It's still the best one on the market."
The secret to Carter's famously voluminous locks can be found in these self-grip rollers. "They're old-fashioned, but they work. I've had mine for years and years," she says.
Carter loves the subtle lemon aroma of this Bronnley soap. "Makes you feel fresh as a daisy. And it's shaped like a lemon, so it goes into your hand easily," she says.
Vince shoes are typically on the pricier side. Simple slip-ons and sneakers from the high-end brand start between $225 and $250, while dressier styles and boots command anywhere from $300 to $600. At just $85, these platform sneakers are an impressive 66% off — and frankly, we'd pay more to don Wonder Woman-approved footwear.
Carter tells The Strategist that she already made these practical platform sneakers part of her Thanksgiving look. "I wore some oversize sequined pants with Vince sneakers, a T-shirt, and a white Stella McCartney jacket," she says. "I wear them as often as I can."
Vince sneakers get their cool, skater-inspired aesthetic from their California roots; the company was founded in early-aughts Los Angeles. This comfy pair has a soft suede upper that's elasticized, so it won't leave you with blisters. Walk all day on their 2-inch platforms, which comfortably add height thanks to a padded insole. These slipper-like sneakers also have a rounded toe box, leaving you plenty of room to wiggle.

"I love these shoes; I've had them in olive green suede for about four years and just got black suede," said one longtime fan. "Super comfortable, stylish, make me taller (I'm short). I need arch support so I added arches and it all works great. I am easy on shoes and these have held up really well. I recommend!"
"I have a problem with my knee so I'm always looking for the right shoes," said another reviewer. "These sneakers are chic and yet are very comfortable. They have arch support and memory foam which is perfect for me. Every time I wear them, I receive a lot of compliments. They look very [good] with jeans.
