While you probably know Martha Stewart for her top-notch cooking, gardening and all-around domestic know-how, there's something to be said about her skin-care efforts as well. The 82-year-old self-made billionaire had a candid conversation with her dermatologist, Dr. Dan Belkin, on her podcast, sharing that she has used Botox, fillers, peels and skin-tightening treatments. "I don't think a lot about age, but I don't want to look my age at all. And that's why I really work hard at it," she said. She also shared that she "never leaves the house" without wearing sunscreen, specifically one her doctor recommended: Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral Broad Spectrum Sunscreen.

The dermatologist-approved sunscreen is hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic and fragrance-free, so it's especially great for those with sensitive skin. It has a broad-spectrum SPF 36 to provide UVA and UVB sun protection, but it's super lightweight — not greasy or sticky at all — and it's water-resistant for up to 40 minutes. It's also packed with antioxidants to protect skin from blue light (like from your computer or phone), pollution and infrared rays. And it's tinted, so it can brighten and even out your skin tone — we love a multitasker.
"Alastin is a company that a lot of dermatologists really like," Belkin said. "The sunscreen is just a sunscreen, but the tinted sunscreen has more coverage, so it has more UVA coverage, and UVA is the type of UV that causes aging — signs of aging. So to have a tint means that you're blocking more of the UVA and typically you get better coverage with that."

It gives my skin just enough coverage, even on days when my rosacea is flaring up, without looking or feeling too heavy.

For me, the color blends seamlessly into my skin, whether it's the dead of winter or I have a nice summer tan, but some users may have to mix it with their foundation or some bronzing drops.
