Pump up the bass and shut out the world. (Beats)(Beats)
I think Beats — the Apple-owned company that makes audio gear — should adopt the marketing slogan, "Nothing beats Beats." Slam-dunk, right? Then it could lean into opportunities like this: "Nothing beats this Beats Black Friday deal on Beats Studio Buds." (Yes, I enjoy alliteration.) And it's true! The Studio Buds are nearly half off for Black Friday, selling at their lowest price on record. These nifty noise-cancelling earbuds are not only stylish, but also ridiculously functional, offering seamless integration with your Apple devices — and beloved by a pilot we spoke with.
So hurry up and grab them during Amazon's Black Friday Week sale. Whether you're chasing heart-thumping bass or blocking out the world, your ears (and wallet) will thank you.
All-time low price alert! Never lose your luggage, purse, car — anything, really — again. Just toss one of these smart tags inside the item you want to track and you'll be alerted of its whereabouts via your phone.
The deal on this four-pack brings each tag just over $17 a pop. Grab a few for your, er, forgetful family members — in my case that was me (Chris)!
If you have 60 extra bucks to spend on these over the Solo 4, do it. Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode let you control how much of the world you hear, whether you're on a plane or at the gym. Plus, with up to 24 hours of battery life, they're built to keep up with your day.
Take your bird-watching to the next level via this nifty handheld telescope. With features like HD zoom and 80x magnification, you'll be able to enjoy wildlife, concerts, sporting events and more with a crystal-clear, up-close view. The No. 1 bestseller even comes with a tripod and smartphone holder so you can take photos and videos through its lens. We've never seen it listed for $600, but this sale price is as low as it gets.
"The number one item I'd pack is noise-cancelling headphones. Few things are more irritating than listening to loud conversations or baby screams on a flight," says Armitage. "This doesn't have to break the bank, as you can find a quality pair for $50 to $100."
Earbuds are more portable than headphones, and these wireless noise-cancelling buds from Beats are among the most popular, with more than 57,000 five-star ratings on Amazon. They come with tips in three sizes for a snug fit. Transparency mode lets you switch off noise-cancelling to hear in-flight announcements or order a ginger ale. Choose from black, white or red to suit your jet-setting style.
Tired of basic black? You can also nab these stunners in Slate Blue (shown), Black/Gold and Cloud Pink. They don't have ANC, but do have Personalized Spatial Audio.
"They're lightweight, foldable and come with a sturdy carrying case, making them ideal for travel," said a happy buyer. "The ear cushions are soft and comfortable, though they may feel a bit snug for those with larger heads. Even during extended listening sessions, I found the fit to be comfortable with minimal ear fatigue."
An $80 price tag on Apple earbuds (Apple acquired Beats in 2014) isn't something you come across daily — especially when said earbuds have active noise cancellation, which typically boosts prices quite a bit. In fact, this is the lowest price these Beats have ever been.
If you haven't yet made the leap to ANC, what are you waiting for? And if you're already in the club, Beats Studio Buds are a worthy upgrade from more basic earbuds. With eight hours of listening time — up to 24 with the case — you won't be stuck constantly charging them.
These earbuds deliver the bass-heavy sound signature Beats is known for, perfect for getting you pumped for your next workout. They're sweat-resistant and feature a transparency mode along with ANC, so you can opt to stay aware of your surroundings or hold a conversation without taking them out of your ears.
You could fill an NFL stadium with the 54,000 buyers who have already given these Beats a five-star rating, and more than 10,000 pairs have been sold in the past month.
Many users, including this five-star customer, appreciate the classic Beats sound of the Studio Buds. "If you like bass and hate the sensor controls on most earbuds — these very well could be the best earbuds you could get. These are on par with earbuds in the $200 range."
"They're so good I've bought two extra pairs to use while one is charging or to leave at the office," admitted one very happy five-star reviewer. "Sound quality is good, noise cancelling is really good, they look great, they connect so easily and quickly, and most importantly (to me) they are comfortable."
Another user praised them for their day-to-day practicality. "I have a disability where loud noises cause my eyes to blur, so the decibel blocking feature is key to me. These fit more comfortably in my ears than my previous $200 buds. Everyone knows how nice Beats brand products are, so quality is not a question."
Some users, like this four-star customer, found that the fit was a bit frustrating. "These buds don't fit my admittedly small ear canals very well, which means I often have to adjust them to make sure they're secure."
Another four-star reviewer found the case a bit lacking, noting that you can't toss it onto a wireless charging pad to juice it up. "Also, was not a fan of how the case just doesn't have that 'premium' feel," they wrote. "The matte finish is nice, though I would have liked a little more weight in the case lid, but at this point, these are such little things that really, it's not a dealbreaker."
