You don't even need to leave your comfy spot on the couch to comb through the thousands of extended Presidents' Day sales, including some truly stellar bargains on all things tech.
Didn't get AirPods Pro in your stocking this Christmas? Now's the time to grab them for $50 off. Got your eye on a shiny new laptop? You can snag this Acer, a favorite of our tech editor, for $300. And how about a cordless Dyson V7 vac to help with the housework? It's nearly $100 off.
I've combed through endless discounts to bring you the best Presidents' Day deals on Apple, Samsung, Jackery and more. These prices won't last long, so grab them before they disappear.
More than 10,000 Amazon shoppers snapped up these earbuds in the past month, so calling them a customer favorite might just be an understatement. They come with more features than you might expect given the tiny package: active noise cancellation, transparency mode, USB-C charging and a snug, customizable fit.
At a whopping 50% off, this robovac is down to just $100 and can cruise under couches and chairs without you having to lift a finger. And if you do want to control it? There's an app for that, so kick back and enjoy those clean floors.
Have pet hair tumbleweeds taken over your house too? Take care of them and all of the other messes around your home with this Presidents' Day Dyson deal (those are two words you don't see next to each other too often).
Planning any road trips? This popular power station is an absolute steal at nearly $400 off. With a massive 1,070 watt-hour capacity and multiple ports, it's perfect for powering everything from your camping gear to essential appliances during a power outage, and this is the best price I've seen in marked down to months.
Pilot and aviation enthusiast Duke Armitage is a fan of noise-cancelling earbuds for travel, and this popular pick by Beats happens to be $50 off. "Few things are more irritating than listening to loud conversations or baby screams on a flight," he says. "This doesn't have to break the bank, as you can find a quality pair for $50 to $100."
These come with three tip sizes to ensure a snug fit. Other travel-friendly features? Transparency mode lets you switch off noise-cancelling to hear in-flight announcements or order a ginger ale, and you'll get hours of listening time before they need to be charged. Choose from black, white or red — whatever suits your jet-setting style.
With a 60-day capacity you only have to worry about emptying this robot vacuum six times a year. Talk about convenience!
This smart watch comes in at a fraction of the price of an Apple Watch, making it a solid choice for anyone who wants advanced fitness tracking without spending a ton. While it doesn’t offer the same deep integration with Apple’s ecosystem or features like an always-on display, it nails the health and fitness essentials — tracking heart rate, sleep and workouts — with precision. Plus, its battery life of up to 6 days puts the Apple Watch’s 18-hour charge cycle to shame.
Ready for some Apple picking? Yes, we realize it's not fall, but you'll want to pluck this bad boy from the ol' Amazon tree and add it to your cart because it's currently down to its all-time lowest price — and this is the most recent version! As the unofficial Goldilocks of tech (less bulky than a laptop but larger than a smartphone), this tablet keeps you connected on the go or at home, and you can use it for everything from reading books to taking notes to watching videos.
Broida named this the "best overall tablet," owing to its "under-the-hood improvements, including a faster processor, more RAM (4GB instead of 3GB), Bluetooth 5.0 (up from 4.2) and a USB-C charging port."
Check out his roundup of the best tablets of 2024 for a full review.
If price has held you back from picking up an Apple smartwatch, this discount on the Apple Watch SE might be just the push you need to click that buy button. It tracks everything from heart rate to how well you sleep and even includes crash detection. Cool, huh? This price is only $9 above the lowest we've ever seen.
"I've had this watch for a couple of months and cannot say enough good things!" said one five-star reviewer. "It makes it easy to track workouts and heart rate. Very easy to set up and use, not to mention the battery lasts me two days! Don't know how I lived without it! Also great for easily seeing my notifications when I’m working from home! Love being able to see work things while moving around my house."
Want the newest AirPods out there without the high price tag of the ANC version? These are the buds for you. While you're going without the noise-cancellation and Transparency Mode features, they're no slouch, these ultra-comfortable, lightweight earbuds feature up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge, with the charging case adding up to 25 additional hours of total listening time.
These earbuds have been my go-to for everything from trail running in the mountains to gym sessions and catching up on my latest podcasts while doing dishes. With adaptive noise cancellation that cuts out up to 98% of background noise, they're perfect for staying in the zone wherever I am. The battery life is incredible — up to 10 hours on a single charge and a whopping 50 hours with the case. They deliver high-quality sound that keeps me motivated, and the comfortable fit means they stay put through any activity.
My favorite feature? The fast-charging. A quick 10-minute charge gives me four hours of listening time, so I never have to worry about forgetting to plug them in overnight.
If you want to go for something a little bit higher-end, these Sony stunners are marked down by over 40% — and at their lowest price ever. It's certainly not a bad deal when you consider everything you get with these.
For starters, they have up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge (and you can get five more hours with just a 10-minute charge). If you take a phone call, it automatically reduces background noise and makes your voice clearer. On-device controls make it easy to skip songs and control the volume, and you can even sync these with multiple devices at once.
"I usually don’t wear earbuds since they tend to fall out of my ears, but a few months ago, Bose gifted me a pair of these Ultra Open Earbuds, and I can’t get enough of them! They fit like an ear cuff, so they actually stay put. Plus, they're not noise-cancelling, which I love because I can still hear the world around me. This makes me feel a lot safer while I’m out walking. And I’m definitely not alone in loving them — Oprah even featured them on her Favorite Things List this year! Now that they're on sale, I’m thinking they’d make the perfect Christmas gift for my sister." —Rebecca Carhart, Style Writer
Can’t choose between a tablet and a laptop? Why not have both? This powerhouse is packed with a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 Processor, 32GB of RAM and a spacious 1TB SSD, delivering top-tier performance whether you use it for work, school or at home. Use it as a tablet or a laptop — it’s versatility at its best. The matte screen ensures glare-free productivity outdoors, while USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, a micro SD card reader and a stylus make it as functional as it is flexible. And at less than 3.5 pounds, it's easy to take with you, whether your commute is minutes or hours.
The MacBook Air is fantastic, but sometimes you need a little extra muscle for editing photos or videos. That’s where the Pro shines. Having used a MacBook Pro for nearly two decades to edit 4K videos on the go, I can confidently say it’s a powerhouse that handles just about anything you throw at it — especially this model with its advanced M4 chip. And while it might lack the "Air" branding, this 14-inch version is surprisingly portable, tipping the scales at just under 3.5 pounds.
This midrange option sports several appealing features, which are all the more appealing given its $280 price tag. While we have seen this laptop go a bit lower, this is still a great deal. It's got enough storage and RAM for basic use and, though its 128GB of storage suggests a flash drive might be a wise purchase, it's still a terrific choice for a student or someone who wants a laptop for day-to-day use.
Senior Tech Writer Rick Broida named it one of Yahoo's best laptops of 2024, saying it "should handle most mainstream computing tasks with no trouble."
If you're in the market for a versatile gaming laptop that won't break the bank, the HP Victus can handle almost any modern game on at least medium settings. The high refresh rate makes it a great option for esports titles like League of Legends or Overwatch, and it has a large enough drive to store multiple games at once.
Gaming laptops are notoriously expensive (and pretty niche), but this one strikes a fine balance between price and performance.
Want a powerful tablet without paying the mind-boggling $1,000-plus smackeroos for an iPad Pro? The Air is a good bet, experts say.
If they're all about getting their steps in or want to get more active, give them some motivation with this Fitbit. I've used this one myself, and I love that it helps you stay on task without being confusing or intrusive. You can see your heart rate, try fitness tools straight from your wrist, track your steps and more. Unlike other Fitbits, this one comes packed with Google apps like Maps and Wallet, making it a great sidekick for more than working out.
These Oprah faves feature one-touch pairing, up to 40 total hours of battery life and fast-charging capabilities. If you want them at this low price, don't press pause.
Says a five-star reviewer: "These are some of the comfiest headphones ever! I could live in these puppies. They are nice and big, cover my ears and they don't squish or hurt them like some headphones do. And they're really light, which is super nice."
If it's within 30 feet, your iPhone will locate it, right down to the centimeter. If it's farther afield, Apple's Find My network should help you pinpoint it. Just be prepared to buy some cases so you can clip these gizmos to your keychains and other valuables.
Proof that we live in a golden age of electronics pricing. Ten years ago I paid this much for my first 4K TV, a 43-inch model that didn't offer much in the way of features. This one is four times the size and has active HDR and Alexa built-in. Good times!
This streaming stick is the most powerful of the Roku bunch, taking things up a notch in both speed and image quality. My favorite use: throwing it in my carry-on when I'm traveling so I don't have to rely on whatever is on TV at my hotel.
While this MacBook Air isn't the newest and best by any means, for those looking for a super lightweight, portable way to get into the Apple ecosystem and only need their machine for light tasks (think streaming, writing, browsing the web), you won't find a better price.
If you're an old-school audiophile, Apple's OG EarPods are on sale for just $16, a record low! These come with a built-in remote to control music, phone calls and volume.
"These are perfect for calls and Zoom meetings because they never run out of battery and have the best microphone," a five-star reviewer wrote.
If you've been eyeing the MacBook Air but want a bit more screen to work with, the 15-inch model might just be your sweet spot. It takes everything you love about the 13-inch version and supersizes it, giving you more room to get things done, making multitasking, streaming and even photo editing way more engaging. And thanks to an upgraded six-speaker system with force-cancelling woofers, the sound quality gets a nice bump, too.
Even with the extra screen real estate, the 15-inch Air keeps that trademark slim, lightweight feel. Not surprisingly, its battery life is longer than the 13-inch's, and the price jump is pretty reasonable, considering what you’re getting in return.
When it comes to a deal on an everyday Windows laptop, this Surface is worth a look. It’s faster than the MacBook Air M3, has a stunning 13.8” touchscreen for added versatility and offers up to 20 hours of battery life — perfect for long days without a charger. Plus, it’s super lightweight with a premium aluminum design that looks and feels high-end.
This streaming device is as simple as it gets — just plug it in and you’re streaming all your favorite apps in no time. It’s perfect for anyone who wants an affordable, no-frills way to upgrade an older TV without spending a fortune.
One of my favorite family vacations growing up was a trip out west to Yellowstone National Park. When we got to the hotel, my sister and I were horrified to find there was no TV in the room (this was long before smartphones and tablets). That week, my family went to nighttime ranger talks, learned how to play euchre and stayed up late staring at the stars — all things we probably wouldn't have done if we were inside watching Cartoon Network every night.
That said, there are places — like the middle of Iowa or Nebraska — where you're just stopping to rest. In those spots, it's nice to have a streaming device. On a recent trip to Arches and Canyonlands with my daughter, we spent every morning eating breakfast and watching an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse together. It was perfection.
How do we love this set? Let us count the ways: 4K resolution. Access to upwards of 1 million movies and TV episodes via the streaming world's heavy hitters. Upscaling capability. 43-inch screen. Under $200 price tag. Oh, and 5,000+ of these have been sold in the past month.
Take it from this fan: "Hands down best TV I've purchased in the last decade."
Think all QLED is the same? Think again. Samsung's Mini-LED tech, featured in its Neo QLED models, takes backlighting to the next level. Unlike standard QLED, Mini-LEDs deliver precise control over brightness zones, which means you get sharper contrast and deeper black levels. This setup lets you enjoy vibrant colors and impressive detail, even in darker scenes. If you're after a TV that can handle both bright and dimly lit rooms with ease, Neo QLED's Mini-LED is the way to go.
These over-the-ears feature 22 hours of playback with ANC on and a whopping 40 hours of playback with it off. Forget to charge them? No problem. With the Fast Fuel feature, a 10-minute charge gives you three hours of playback.
These widely compatible smart plugs work with almost all smart-home services outside of HomeKit (and even that can be configured through IFTTT), but the true selling point is the fact that you get four for just $20. That's less than $5 per plug — an absolute steal with how useful these little gadgets actually are.
The Google Nest Thermostat is one of the finest examples of smart-home tech out there, helping you keep your home comfortable without sending utility bills through the roof. While we've seen it dip lower than this before, it's not likely to do so this year. If you've been waiting on a chance to snatch one of these up for yourself, go for it.
If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)
