Attention, shoppers: Amazon Prime Day is just hours away, and we're sharing everything we know so far to help you score the best Prime Day deals. The mega-site's annual shopping extravaganza is on Tuesday, July 12, and Wednesday, July 13, and most other major retailers (we're talking Walmart, Target, Best Buy and more) will launch adjacent sales that are on par with the savings you'd see on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
But guess what? Amazon's early Prime Day deals began on June 21st, and new deals will launch almost daily leading up to the big event. With Amazon's early Prime Day sales, we've also seen some stellar savings on Amazon Fire TVs, Amazon gaming bundles and Echo Frames.

Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day will be in July 12th and 13th in more than 20 countries. Historically, Prime Day has taken place mid-month, after the July 4th holiday, and in time for back-to-school shopping for states that return to classrooms in late July and early August.

Prime Day, which began eight years ago, is Amazon’s biggest shopping event for Prime members. The stellar sale includes markdowns on thousands upon thousands of products: tech, kitchen essentials, vacuums, apparel, beauty must-haves and so much more. And the deals are not only on Amazon — in 2022, just about every other retailer will launch competing sales, making it a strategic day to shop for the best deals outside of Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
Some of the biggest deals will be on Amazon Devices, like the Fire TV Stick 4K, and the Echo Dot. There are a few things you can do to score big on your favorite items. The first is to get familiar with the popular pages across the site that typically host the best sales:
Deals of the Day: These sales last for a full 24 hours.
Lightning Deals: These deals last for only a few hours, while supplies last. Prime members get access to these sales 30 minutes before they go live to the public.
Savings and Sales: Ongoing deals throughout the event on select brands and products.
Amazon Coupons: You’ll find instant savings in this section.
We also recommend setting up a ‘Wish List’ at Amazon. That way, you’ve identified your must-have items before Prime Day, and once the sales go live, you can add them to your cart stress-free.
