Watching diner cooks flip eggs and pancakes with an effortless flick of the wrist has to be one of the most satisfying restaurant experiences. But making breakfast at home can be one of the most tedious if you don't have a slick skillet that'll keep food from sticking. That's why one Yahoo shopping editor — who happens to be an alum of the French Culinary Institute — went in search of the best nonstick pans. Which one took the gold? That would be the wildly popular Tramontina Professional Nonstick Fry Pan, which happens to be marked down big time for the final day of Amazon Prime Day. Who doesn't love a sizzlin' sale?
"I'm giving my mom this new fan from Shark to help her keep cool this spring and summer. It can be used indoors and out, with or without the base (so it can sit on a table). The fan can be plugged in or will run cordless up to 24 hours. And it's boujee — complete with a portable water tank and mist functionality! I’m also considering one of Shark's new mini misting fans for my sister, another mom who deserves to feel pampered at home and on the go. (I can also see this coming in handy when she's sitting on the bleachers at my niece's summer softball games.)" — Kristin Granero, Home Writer
I don't expect this sturdy hand vac to conk out anytime soon, but when it does, I'll be ordering another one right away.
If you sleep hot, these moisture-wicking pillows will help keep you comfortable. They're filled with a plush down alternative (100% polyester) that's encased in a soft, breathable sateen cover. Score the set while they're well over half off.
"My husband and I are very picky about our pillows, and we are pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these are," said one five-star fan. "We are both side sleepers, and these have helped both of us have better nights of sleep. They support our necks without feeling like we are too propped up, and they offer enough give to help feel like our necks are being cradled. I'm glad I found these."
Why keep tripping over bottles when these handy shower shelves exist? This top-selling set claims to hold up to 40 pounds (that's a lot of gel, shampoo, conditioner and emollients) and comes with five storage racks in different sizes for all your bathtime essentials. All you need to do is apply the included adhesive to stick 'em on the wall.
If you spend lots of time in the kitchen, your feet deserve a cushy surface to stand on during all of that cooking (and dishwashing). This highly rated anti-fatigue mat is made from a comfy foam to help take some of the pressure off of your muscles and joints, and its nonslip bottom will stay put without sliding around. The waterproof material is also easy to wipe clean.
This cushy comforter, which has tabs and can double as a duvet insert, was designed for all-season use, keeping you cozy yet cool during the warmer months and toasty come winter. Box stitching helps keep the fluffy filling evenly distributed.

Amazon's No. 1 selling electric pressure cooker is the Instant Pot Duo Plus, and it's close to half off right now (its lowest price in months!). It can pressure cook, slow cook, steam, sauté, make rice, make yogurt, sterilize things and warm food. So if you want an appliance to help you prep meals this fall for tailgates and school nights, or just love a hearty stew, it's worth grabbing it while it's on sale.
"The cooking performance is outstanding," said one impressed customer. "Meals that used to take hours to prepare are now ready in a fraction of the time, without compromising on flavor or texture. The Instant Pot Duo Plus consistently produces tender, flavorful dishes, from perfectly cooked rice to fall-off-the-bone meats."
Yahoo's cooking expert, Lisa Schweitzer, flipped dozens of pancakes and fried egg after egg to find the best nonstick pan, eventually crowning this Tramontina 10-incher the winner. Schweitzer, who has a degree from the French Culinary Institute, calls this pan “a dream” to cook with. (The real dream might be that it’s also dishwasher safe!)
Grab this fave frying pan while it’s hot — not literally — because right now it's at its lowest price of the year, cheaper than any other pan we tested. And don't miss these other Black Friday kitchen deals we found.
Compared to many of the other pans our editor tested (HexClad, Le Creuset, Made In), this one's an absolute steal at $27 (down from $33) — the lowest price it's been all year. In fact, it's the least expensive of the bunch, so the fact that it earned the top spot speaks volumes to how well it performed.
Yahoo shopping editor Lisa Schweitzer, who conducted the nonstick pan test, says, "I've been using a Tramontina nonstick pan for years. Cooking with this pan is a dream!" Among its many perks are its lightweight, 2-pound design, which 5-foot-tall Lisa says is "a huge plus when it comes to maneuverability," as well as the removable silicone grip on its handle, which will protect your hands while you cook.
Made of commercial-grade aluminum with a PFOA-free nonstick coating, the pan is fine to use on glass, electric and ceramic glass stovetops, plus it's safe to put in the oven (at 400°F with the silicone handle grip and 500°F without). That means you can get a nice sear on your steak and then finish it in the oven to cook it to your liking. It's also dishwasher-safe, but Lisa says, "Cleanup is a breeze and only requires a few swipes with a soapy sponge, even around the rivets that secure the handle."
You won't need to douse the pan in butter to keep things from sticking, either. Lisa says a small slick of oil will do. And if you're cooking fish and other proteins? "I had no problems searing skin-on salmon filets or releasing chicken breasts from the surface," she reports. "It performed as well or better than all the other pans I tested, crisping salmon skin to brown ASMR perfection and cooking golden pancakes without hot spots."
Lisa's in good company; more than 19,000 Amazon customers are smitten with the Tramontina nonstick pan.
"I wish I had bought this pan 10 years ago. Heats evenly. Nonstick. Easy to handle. Love [that] I can put it in the oven," raved one happy customer.
"Great pan so far, nothing sticks," agreed another. "I'm flipping omelets easily, made a fantastic burger last night with a perfect crust on it. Cooks evenly and has great balance. Another great thing is it's very easy to clean. No need to spend $100-plus on a frying pan when this one does an amazing job for under 30 bucks. Couldn't be happier."
"This is our second one," shared a repeat buyer (and regretful host). "The first lasted five years and would have lasted longer if house guests hadn’t used tools and scrubbies that scratched it. This one will get locked up when guests are here. Great nonstick pan."
"The only thing I am not delighted with is the handle, which is quite long and heavier than any other frying pan I've used," wrote an otherwise happy shopper. "When I'm cooking food, it's not an issue, but if I place the pan on my (gas) stove without food, it can wobble because of the handle. Do I like this pan? Yes, a lot. Would I buy it again? Yes, absolutely."
"I'm very happy with this purchase," said a final fan. "I've had it about a month and continue to be impressed. Cooks great. I find the handle to be a few inches too long; it won't fit in my sink very well."
