Target has a history of collaborating with some of the biggest names in fashion, but its latest has us in a frenzy! Today, the retailer shared a new collection with Kate Spade New York is on its way. In fact, the collection is dropping on April 12. That's less than two weeks away, and we can barely contain our excitement. The line is filled with bold prints, bright colors and novelty items, as you've come to expect from Kate Spade. Oh yeah, and items start at just $5.
You can preview all of the items at Target's website, which includes fashion for women and girls, handbags and accessories, home items, hosting essentials, party supplies and even a few snacks (gummy handbags, anyone?).
As you could probably guess, this collection is expected to sell out fast, so mark your calendars. All of the items will be live on Target.com and the Target mobile app on April 12 at 3 a.m. EST. Most stores will also feature a dedicated Kate Spade New York x Target shopping space with a few store-only items, including a small capsule of Target red handbags, bicycles and more. If you want your items fast, while you can only shop the store-exclusive items in person, you can order locally available online items for same-day pickup or same-day delivery.

This maxi dress has everything we want in our spring wardrobes: bright colors, a bold floral print, a flowy silhouette and a light, linen-blend fabric. While it's not fitted, it has a tie at the bodice to give it some shape and elastic at the cuffs to give the sleeves a slight puff. Eek! Adding this to our wishlists now.
You should expect to find a few Kate Spade New York x Target items adorned with cheeky phrases, like this throw pillow with "Couch Potato" displayed across the front. The is also available in black and white with the words "Take It Easy" if that's more your style.
It wouldn't be a Kate Spade collection without a few party-appropriate pieces like this floral jumpsuit. The flattering one-shoulder is decorated with a bow and the pants have pockets. It's also in a linen-blend fabric, so it probably won't be too heavy for a summer wedding or another warm-weather event.
These cocktail napkins are already on a couple Yahoo editors' wishlists. They come in a set of four and are embroidered with martinis, cake and a plate of fish (Branzino, perhaps?). How fancy, but cute! Also important: They're cotton and machine-washable.
