The MacBook Air is ultra-light and ultra-portable at just 2.7 pounds. (Amazon)(Amazon)
The first MacBook I ever owned was a game-changer — sleek and gleaming, it stood out in a world of clunky PCs. I relied on it for countless college papers, photo and video edits and even animation projects. It lasted nearly a decade before I had to give it up. But Apple kept me coming back for more, and why not? MacBooks are the gold standard: sleek, fast and endlessly reliable. That's why I was excited when I found out the 2025 13-inch MacBook Air, though for a limited time, is a record-low $799 during the Labor Day sale.
There's a reason for the hype surrounding Apple AirPods Pro — many reasons, in fact. For starters, they offer rich, crisp sound and superior noise cancellation, allowing you to enjoy music, podcasts, audiobooks and more without outside commotion getting in the way. This model also allows you to control the volume simply by swiping the stem, and you'll even receive four pairs of silicone tips in different sizes for customized comfort. At $189, this is the cheapest we've seen them!

Make fighting with your family members over power outlets a thing of the past, courtesy of this electrifying gadget. It's equipped with five AC outlets and four USB ports, enough for everyone to charge their iPads, iPhones, MacBooks (you get the picture) all at once. Oh, and it's so much sleeker than having a power strip on your floor — and you won't have to worry about tripping over it.
No, it's not a massive discount, but this bestseller is within a dollar of its all-time low (and it's retailed for as much as $20 in the past).
Such a low price for such a powerful (and new) laptop doesn't happen often, so if you've been on the fence about upgrading, consider this sure to be short-lived deal your sign to do it.
Everything the base model has (even the $200 off) with twice the storage.
This MacBook is a shocking $200 off, marking the rock-bottom lowest we've ever seen for this 256GB model. Powered by Apple's ultrafast M4 chip, this is a 2025 release, so we're beyond surprised to find it on sale at such an impressive price.
When it comes to high-performance laptops, the MacBook Air is always in the conversation for myriad reasons. Not only does it have truly impressive specs, but it also comes with a Liquid Retina Display that makes everything from text to colors especially clear and crisp.
There's a front-facing camera for video calls and meetings that captures content in 1080p resolution — that's high-def. If you have an iPhone or iPad, all three devices will work together seamlessly: Transfer content from one to the other with ease, or open a webpage on your laptop and keep reading on your phone when you leave the house.
The Air gets up to 18 hours of battery life on a single charge, and at only 2.7 pounds, it's easy to grab and go. Apple's M4 chip is particularly efficient, giving this computer some of the best staying power of any Apple device on the market.
This model's been getting a lot of love from Amazon reviewers, with nearly 1,300 five-star reviews, not unexpected for a MacBook.
"Everything I need in a laptop," said this five-star Apple adopter. "The size is perfect, it's lightweight, but it's super fast and powerful. I am absolutely in love with the color, and surprisingly, I don't get a lot of smudging that I see on the outside, [which] I did previously with other laptops. The only thing I am disappointed in is that I did not get a MacBook sooner."
Another happy customer upgraded from an older MacBook Air. "I sold my 2019 Intel MacBook Pro and upgraded to the M4 MacBook Air, and I've never been happier. This thing is super portable, super zippy, super lovely. It's been such a dream setting it up as this thing zooms so cool, fast, and quiet. I'm in love."
Think you're too old to switch to Apple? Not so! "My first Apple product purchased in my 77 years," exclaimed this convert. "It starts up in about 16 seconds, and moving around the internet and files is pretty much the same as my other PCs. I do a lot of photography, and it supports that quickly and efficiently. ... Battery life is about four times longer than my now-not-working high-powered ASUS Zephyrus Laptop, which bugged me a lot."
One thing to check before buying is how much storage you'll need (I use an external hard drive, but it is one more thing to carry around). "I needed [a] 512GB internal drive. My software occupies more than [two-thirds] of the disk space," said this reviewer. (Good news! The 512GB model is on sale too — keep scrolling!)
If you're switching over from a PC, there will be a bit of a learning curve, though for this five-star fan, it was very much worth it. "At first, the OS was a little bit frustrating, as I use a lot of charts, folders on [Microsoft] Office and now I need to use Apple Numbers unless I purchase another MS Office for the new Mac. Numbers is very different, making and using charts, but I am getting the hang of it."
Need a bit more storage? The 512GB version is calling your name.
