Here comes the sun ... and the affordable spring fashion. (Amazon)
The first day of spring is still a few days away, but I'm already dreaming of warmer weather. After a grueling winter, I can't wait to indulge in some outdoor dining, long walks in the sun and, of course, new clothes — hey, I am a shopping editor after all! Thankfully, Amazon has rolled out thousands of new pieces that are seriously on trend and won't cost an arm and a leg.
As your trusted fashion expert, I couldn't resist diving into the sea of over 20,000 new pieces to find the most stylish options, and I'm all too happy to share my finds with you. Below are 10 of the very best spring styles on Amazon, and I think you'll love 'em too. From cute, comfy Adidas sneakers to a cozy loungewear set and a sleek $15 pair of sunnies that just look expensive, these are the 10 styles I'm adding to my cart this spring.
Linen pants are a summer must-have, and I'm excited to add this sleek pair to my wardrobe — they just ooze "quiet luxury." The drawstring waist makes them comfy and forgiving on an indulgent vacation. Plus, the breathable fabric will keep me cool during hotter days.
If you know me, you know I love a striped top. This relaxed button-down is great because it comes in a variety of unexpected colors (think light green, purple and apricot) so they'll stand out from the other striped shirts already in my closet. Plus, the oversized fit means I can wear it so many different ways — by tying it, tucking it or layering it under my favorite sweaters.
"Yes, please!" wrote a fan. "Cutest oxford shirt. Literally, remove from dryer and put [it] on. It looks perfect every time. Definitely getting other colors."
This flowy maxi dress comes in so many colorful prints and patterns, it's tough to pick just one. Its easy, breezy design allows for plenty of airflow, making it perfect for those upcoming sunny days. And the best part? It's ready for any occasion. I plan to rock it with comfy sneakers for a casual daytime look and dress it up with strappy heels for a fun night on the town.
"Fabulous flowy dress. Nothing clingy," wrote a satisfied shopper. "Lightweight material but not flimsy. Washed well. Vibrant color. Wore all summer and got numerous compliments each time. I am planning to revisit this shop next summer and purchase a couple more."
Instead of adding yet another pair of white sneakers to my closet this spring, I'm taking a cue from those stylish Scandinavian ladies who have been sporting comfy kicks in vibrant colors and supple suede materials. These Adidas Gazelles are easy to walk in, and this pretty pastel blue will add a cool, springy twist to any look.
"Love the color, suede material, gum sole and style!" raved a buyer. "I get compliments on these shoes every time I wear them. They are comfortable to wear right out of the box. These are my favorite shoes!"
I love a matching set no matter the season, but for spring I plan to scoop up this lightweight short-sleeved style. The classic khaki color is one of my favorites — it's such a simple, neutral shade that really elevates loungewear into something special. You can mix and match the pieces with other items or wear them together for a chic monochromatic look that makes you feel put together.
"I love that it is thin but warm. I love the look," said this fashionista. "I am a curvy girl and this makes me feel slim. I don't love the wide elastic band around the waist. I wish it had more give and softness through the waist, [but] I am so happy. I am a size 12 pants and medium to large shirt size. I got a large in this."
Everyone needs a good lightweight jacket for spring, and I can't get over how cute this puffer is. It reminds me of Martha Stewart's favorite cap-sleeve puffer vest — but with a bit more coverage for those chilly mornings. I love the slightly oversized fit and the fact that the airy topper will fold easily, making it easy to travel with.
"I love this coat! It's the perfect weight for spring and it feels so soft and comfy," said this snug shopper. "I love that it has lots of pockets and the three-quarter-length sleeve is great for that transitional weather. It looks cute with either long sleeves peeking out or with bare arms and short sleeves, and I love the length of the jacket. It goes with everything and feels elevated enough to wear with nice pants and a top for a night out, but I also don't feel silly or overdressed with a pair of sweats and a T-shirt."
Instead of reaching for my usual denim shorts, I'm looking to elevate my spring bottoms this year. This sleek, tailored pair looks so much more polished than your average shorts, and it has an elastic waistband at the back to keep them super comfortable. Despite the faux fly, the shorts have real belt loops and two spacious front pockets, so no one will suspect that they're pull-ons.
"Cotton!" exclaimed a fabric connoisseur. "Stylish, comfortable and classy. These are nice for a nice summer hike that ends up in a resort for lunch. I don't like yoga shorts or anything too teenagery, so these are wonderful. They are true to size but on a larger side."
A shoulder bag that's comfortable, stylish and big enough to hold more than the essentials? Sign me up! I'm partial to this brown canvas style, which will look great with everything else in my spring wardrobe. But the bag also comes in pretty pink, green and yellow if you want to inject a bit more brightness now that the sun's back out.
"Has the look of a more expensive bag and it looks great with any outfit," said this savvy shopper. "I particularly love the gold accents and the fact that when you are not wearing it as a crossbody, just unsnap the snaps and create a longer strap ... Depending on what you carry, this might not be a very big bag for everyday but a great going-out date bag that holds everything you need for the evening! Love it!"
I hate to admit it, but I'm really bad about losing sunglasses. That means I'm no longer wasting money on expensive styles that will eventually go missing. This sleek pair has a retro '90s oval shape that will look good on just about anyone, and the lenses boast UV protection to keep your peepers safe. The best part? They are only $15, so I won't feel too bad if I do misplace them.
"They arrived in perfect condition, fit nicely on my face (not loose that they slide down my nose) and [the lenses] are clear not cloudy," said this five-star reviewer. "I have bought sunglasses that have a well-known name and they did not hold up or fit as well. I will be ordering another set for a backup plus more."
Prepare to see butter yellow everywhere this spring. I plan to ease into the cheerful trend with this cute sleeveless top. I love that it buttons from top to bottom, so I can decide just how much skin I want to show. And it will look just as amazing on its own as it will under a sweater, jean jacket or blazer, making it just right for transitional weather.
"The look for less!" said a budget-conscious buyer. "Looks just like the top from Abercrombie or Madewell! Fits true to size and it's stretchy."
