After a deep dive into what women want, QVC is making waves in the swim apparel category with suits for all! The retailer surveyed over 2,200 women to better understand their swimwear wants and needs. It turns out that yes, women want quality swimwear that fits their bodies. We figured as much. But the company went deeper.
Some 75% of Gen X to Gen Z respondents said size inclusivity matters, calling it “very important” or “somewhat important.” And nearly 70% of respondents also said that trusting the brand was important when shopping for swimwear. Some 45% said they were more likely to purchase online if they see a live video of products modeled on a variety of body types.
And QVC listened. The already size-inclusive company has now expanded its swim apparel category to feature more high-quality swimwear for all types of bodies, sizes 2 to 32! Plus, video presentations feature models of different sizes “to make the experience a more enjoyable one and reflective of who the customer is,” said Rachel Ungaro, VP and GMM of Fashion Merchandising. “We can show fashion styles from multiple angles to see how light dynamically interacts with the fabric, give a better impression of the texture, fit and color, and demonstrate how the product moves on all body types.”
Shop trusted names like Lands’ End and Jantzen, along with direct-to-consumer brands such as Summersalt and see the items modeled on real bodies at QVC. Also cool: Styles from a new collab between Swimsuits For All and Kim Gravel feature sizes 2 to Plus 34 — all priced the same no matter the size. How rare is that?
We've rounded up some of the best options for all body types (from QVC to Amazon and vendors in between) so you can find the one that — ahem — suits you best. Prices start at just $24.
How fun is this floral? From the fluttery, laser-cut sleeve and the open V neckline to the supportive structure and four-way stretch, this Denim & Co. suit is made to play.
