With the announcement of Prime Day (or shall we say Prime Days?) on June 21 and 22, Amazon is already dropping incredible deals. We're particularly seeing deep discounts on TVs and smart-home devices.
And now Amazon is taking it up a notch by giving away free money to Prime members before the two-day mega-shopping event even starts.
Here's how it works: Spend $10 at a select small business storefront — including from Amazon Handmade and Amazon Launchpad — any time from now through June 20 and you’ll get $10 to use on Prime Day. Important to note: This extra discount is for Prime members only.
Not yet a Prime member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here, so you can take advantage of everything Amazon Prime Day has to offer you and your wallet.
Once you've made your purchase from Amazon's small business storefront, a $10 credit will be added to your Prime account. The $10 offer will then automatically be applied to your first purchase during Prime Day — no fuss, no muss.
Not sure where to start? Amazon lets you find all sorts of small businesses that use the platform, and you can also explore storefronts by product category (Home & Kitchen, Beauty & Personal Care, Electronics and more), by region (Pacific, Midwest, Northeast and more) or by ownership (Women-owned, Black-owned, Military family-owned and others). Your money, your support!
Now you'll feel good about supporting a growing small business, while also saving some money during Amazon Prime Day. Now that's what we call a win-win!
